Just 16 days to go! This World Cup is going to be special! The vibe has started and country is getting behind Bafana Bafana big time. Before the World Cup starts MSCSPORTS are hosting a match and dinner with team Portugal at BIDVest Wanderers on 8 June. The match is sold out as is the dinner and I simply can't wait!

It is amazing what sport does to a country. I get that wonderful rainbow nation feeling similar to the one before and after  the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Going to Soweto last Saturday to watch the Bulls was one of the greatest days of my life. People of all races embraced each other and thousands of white people who have never been anywhere near Soweto simply loved the place! I got cold shivers about 20 times on Saturday and I as so proud to be a South African! This Saturday is going to be even better! Can't wait! By the way, I do think that the Stormers can win this Saturday.

Well done to BIDVest Wits! They won the Nedbank Cup in front of 80 000 people at the opening of Soccer City. It doesn't get bigger and better than that. Brian Joffe and Roger De Sa were reduced to tears of joy and rightfully so! I am happy for them because they both deserve their success.

I also went to the PSL awards at the State Theatre on Sunday nightand I must say that it was a superb event. Well done to Stellar Africa's KatlegoMphela, Moeneeb Josephs, Rudolph Bester and Gavin Hunt who all won awards. The vibe was fantastic, I am so excited to be a South African in South Africa: WOZA WORLD CUP, WOZA!
