Gavin Hunt is an absolute legend! He has just become the first coach in South African History to win the league three times in a row! I have long thought that he is an outstanding coach and he has proved me right. We are going to celebrate big time!

I have never seen a rugby match like the one between the Lions and the Chiefs. The Chiefs were 40 points clear and in the end they only won by 7! Incredible.

However, I would be worried if I was a Lions fan, one simply cannot concede 72 points at home! It is going to be a long hard season. The Sharks are as bad, believe me, this is the worst Sharks team that I have seen in many years and their season will be as long! The Bulls and Stormers will however be up there come the end of the season. They are looking good.

I am hoping that the national cricket selectors give JP Duminy a break. This talented kid is having a nightmare at the moment and he needs to go back to his franchise and get his form back. He will be back, of that I am certain.

The local 20/20 is heading for an exciting climax. One thing which I really do believ, is that Paul Harris should be in our one-day team. He is the best spinner in South Africa by miles and it is time to pick him because the next World Cup is on the sub-continent, and vd Merwe as well as Botha are really struggling!

My pick of the week is the Cheetahs to beat the Highlanders by more than 6 points and the Hurricanes to smash the Lions into submission!
