In 2002, The Stellar Group, one of the largest sport management companies in Europe with its head office situated in London, opened an office in Johannesburg South Africa, known as Stellar Africa.
Stellar Africa is a player management business which strives to ensure that each and every athlete that it represents has a smooth and hassle free life off the field, thus ensuring peak performance whilst on the field.
With over 70 Premier Soccer League players, 60 rugby players and several cricketers on its books, the company continues to successfully manage some of South Africa's most successful athletes.
Some of the services offered by Stellar Africa include comprehensive client management, sponsorships, endorsements and celebrity appearances, promotions, contractual advice, insurance, financial planning and mortgages.
The office is constantly preparing for the transfer period in January and June when the represented players can move clubs, and for the clubs to purchase or loan the respective players. Such periods have resulted in the business transferring a significant number of players from countries including South Africa, Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Zimbabwe.
Working alongside MSCSPORTS, Stellar Africa ensures that the players, clubs and corporates all receive the most powerful ammunition possible whether it be through signing a new player or coach, concluding an endorsement deal or sound contractual advice, every representative ends up scoring the winning goal.
